Shockingly enough, February has flown compared to January. Despite it being a shorter month, it has not stopped me being busy with commissions which is super exciting!
A good friend really liked the painting I did of Royal Aberdeen Golf Club, so she commissioned me to paint the course map of her favourite course, Golf House Club, Elie.

My granny wanted something extra special for her best friends 80th birthday. Her brief was for me to paint the church they used to go to Girl’s Brigade and other community events. I really love how this one turned out and they were both super pleased with it!

A watercolour commission requested this month is actually for someone’s birthday in March so can’t show it on here yet, but I am chuffed with it and will definitely be doing some more watercolours for the website. I’m thinking some of France, and Italy!
Not painting related - but I did get a request to make another crochet turtle this month. The little girl who received the turtle had the best reaction I could ever have hoped for and it truly made my week. I think I will be making more crocheted plushies because look how cute this wee one is!!! Any animal recommendations of what I should do next?
I also made an outfit for Ellie’s Mr Bean jellycat - don’t you think he looks so cute?

Most excitingly, this month, I FINALLY completed the canvas oil painting of Lamlash Bay, which is used as my brochure picture for the Arran Open Studios event happening in August. So if any of you are planning a trip to Arran this summer, I suggest making it the weekend of 15th - 18th August 2025!
I am planning on having lots of different paintings on show and things to purchase, namely originals canvases, prints, postcards and Christmas Baubles. Papa and I are particularly excited for this next step for MAA Artwork.

Now to finish a wedding venue painting which is a gift for a good friend and get on to a very special request from my cousin Sam! Keep your eyes peeled…. sneaky clue it’s 100cm x 100cm canvas!
