Happy end of January!

Well everyone, we have made it to the end of, arguably, one of the longest, hardest months of the year. I have been reasonably productive in the art world this month. Mainly getting some original watercolours painted to start the originals collection on my website. However, I did have one interesting order this month which was four custom dog Christmas baubles.... yes you read that correctly! This person is VERY organised for this Christmas that's for sure.

This month, I also received the email I was waiting for regarding entering the Arran Open Art Studios event that is taking place in August again this year. It is an opportunity for artists on Arran to open their studio doors to the public for a four day event, whereby we can show off our art and talk to people about it. In preparation for this, I will be creating plenty of Arran and other Scottish inspired pieces of art, varying from large canvas pieces to some Arran inspired Christmas baubles. I will post more about this event later on in the year, but if you are in Arran on the weekend 15th-18th August 2025, come along to the house where I will have teas, coffees, Prosecco and homemade bakes.... and obviously a selection of my artwork to view and to purchase!
